March 2022 COVID-19 Update
On Tuesday, March 1, 2022 The Province of Manitoba changed the health order changes. Palliative Manitoba is confirming that at this time:
1) There will be no change to the safety measures we are currently taking pertaining to provide compassionate care to the individuals we support. All staff and volunteers who provide in-person services are required to be fully vaccinated and wear masks.
2) We continue to work mainly from home, limiting office access and, encouraging remote or outdoor meetings when possible. If you need to drop anything off, please call and make arrangements in advance.
3) As our office is in Deer Lodge Centre, individuals who are attending our office must be screened at the main entrance on Portage Avenue.
4) Palliative Manitoba will continue to follow all health and safety requirements that are set forth by Deer Lodge Centre, including the wearing of masks, to ensure the health and wellness of everyone and reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19.
