Become the foundation of Palliative Manitoba’s network of rural professionals dedicated to the wellness of Kids and Teens (and their families) in your community with our pilot program.
The Goal: Build capacity, province wide, to support the wellness of Kids & Teens (and their families).
The Plan: Provide training, resources & ongoing support to facilitate the running local groups in your own communities.
The Mission: Create & sustain a network of engaged professionals across Manitoba to meet the needs of youth & families experiencing grief due to the death of a loved one – a ‘Community of Care & Practice.’
Respecting participants’ inherent capabilities and professional experience, the course will include lectures, discussion, and experiential activities meant to equip you with an understanding of the curriculum* and the intended goals of the program, supporting Kids and Teens who are grieving.
