Palliative Manitoba serves thousands of individuals every year. Every gift, no matter the size, has a positive impact on our ability to provide service to our community. Only through the generous donations from individuals and organizations are we able to provide end-of-life and bereavement supports, advocacy and education, including providing training to partnering organizations and supporting palliative care programs throughout the province.
Where your money goes:
Your donation supports Manitobans and their families who seek end-of-life supports and bereavement services, including Volunteer Visiting, public Grief Seminars, Telephone Bereavement Program, and Kids and Teens Grieve Too programs. All of these services are free of charge. Each dollar helps support these and other programs and allows us the opportunity to offer new programs based on the needs of the community.
Types of giving:
ONE TIME GIVING
Making a single donation today will contribute to the work we do. Your support will make a difference for individuals and families who rely on Palliative Manitoba’s grief and bereavement services, education and outreach programs, and community projects.
A monthly donation is a convenient way to budget your charitable giving. You will receive an annual tax receipt for your total donation, making tax time easier. You are able to change or cancel your monthly gift at any time.
TRIBUTE OR MEMORIAL GIVING
Your memorial donation will touch many lives in our community, helping to provide services for individuals and families who rely on Palliative Manitoba and it will honour the memory of someone who has had an impact in your life.
You can mark a milestone, such as a birthday, anniversary, or retirement for someone in your life by donating to Palliative Manitoba. It is also the perfect way to celebrate Mother’s/Father’s Day.
PLANNED GIVING AND BEQUESTS
Planned giving is a commitment to the future and a means to ensure your support continues. By remembering Palliative Manitoba in your will, you can bestow a legacy gift that will touch many lives and help us build a community where all Manitobans can experience quality at end of life.
