2021 Hike for Hospice

The last year has been difficult on a global scale, and those facing life limiting illnesses, their families and caregivers, were among the hardest hit. 2020 shone a light on the importance of having quality end-of-life care available universally so no one suffers unnecessarily, no one dies alone and family and friends are able to say goodbye and grieve their losses.

Join thousands of people across Canada who are Hiking to raise public awareness for hospice palliative care. This major annual fundraising initiative will help advance the hospice palliative care initiatives right here in Manitoba. Though the event is a national initiative, all money raised stays here helping the dying and bereaved in our own community.

Collect pledges using the tools available on our CanadaHelps.org Hike for Hospice Page. Online donations will be automatically added to your Hike total. There is also a pledge form that can be printed out for those who would rather send their support through the mail.

Prizes will be awarded for the top individual and team fundraisers. Be sure to buy tickets for the online 50/50 Raffle as well!

Run, walk or roll 4kms, or 5,000 steps, during
