Celebrate Life Breakfast
Presented by Johnston Group
We invite you to join us Thursday, May 30, 2019 at The Metropolitan Entertainment Centre on Donald Street for an inspirational event – featuring a hearty breakfast and Rainbow and Silent Auctions – and hear enlightening stories will change perceptions about dying and grief in today’s world.
Catherine Wreford Ledlow, native Winnipegger and RWB alumnus, has performed at Stratford, danced on Broad way, has been a business woman, a nurse and is the mother of 2. These accomplishments in themselves are inspiring, but they alone don’t make Catherine an inspiration.
In 2013, shortly after the birth of her second child, Catherine was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and doctors gave her 2-6 years to live. That is exactly what she has done. Live. Continuing to perform, most recently as Lady Capulet in the RWB’s production of Romeo and Juliet, Catherine is changing the perception of life with cancer.
Come listen to her story and be inspired by her determination to live life to the fullest – to show the world, and her children, what living with cancer can really look like.
