Resource Centre and Library
Palliative Manitoba’s Resource Centre and Library houses a large selection of books, videos, and pamphlets available to all Manitobans seeking support and education on loss, grief, bereavement, palliative care and end-of-life issues. Our library includes novels, poetry, support books, and children and teen books (including books for children as well as resources for parents with children dealing with loss) to name a few. Our library is continually growing as new resources are added regularly.
The Resource Centre and Library is open to the general public, including families, educators, teachers, nurses, support workers and other individuals, during regular office hours. All materials can be signed out free of charge. Palliative Manitoba’s staff are on hand to help with resource selection and provide guidance as needed.
For more information or to check on the availability of a specific book (including reserving material and setting up a time for pick-up), please contact Palliative Manitoba at 204-889-8525 or firstname.lastname@example.org .
